Best Paper Selection Process

1. Prejudging and short listing of paper presentations will be done by the Scientific Committee.
2. Judging of short-listed paper presentations shall be conducted by the Scientific Committee during the actual conference presentation.
3. Evaluation criteria shall be the following:
   • 10% The lead author must be from advanced undergraduate degree level student to mid-level career researcher
   • 20% Clarity of abstract
   • 40% Impact and innovation of the research to the body of knowledge related to a topic/theme of the APRU-MH20
   • 30% Clarity of presentation during the conference
4. The paper presentation with the top two highest scores shall be selected for Best Paper and Runner Up.

Best Paper Award: USD 300
Best Paper Runner Up Award: USD 200

Best Poster Selection Process

1. Prejudging and short listing of poster presentations will be done by the Scientific Committee.
2. Judging of short-listed posters shall be conducted by the Scientific Committee during the actual poster viewing during the conference proper.
3. Evaluation criteria shall be the following:
   • 10% The lead author must be from advanced undergraduate degree level student to mid-level career researcher
   • 20% Clarity of abstract
   • 40% Coherence of research background, objectives, research design, data results, analysis and conclusions
   • 30% Layout viewing, and communication
4. The posters with the top two highest scores shall be selected for Best Poster and Runner Up.

Best Poster Award: USD 300
Best Poster Runner Up Award: USD 200
